Thanks for shopping in my online vintage clothing store, you are viewing a hard to find early 1900's Edwardian white cotton batiste lawn dress. Back in the day this was probably simply worn as a day lawn dress but of course with today's fashion this could definitely be worn as a wedding dress. Simply put, extremely gorgeous! The front of the bodice of the dress is adorned with white hand sewn floral, appears to resemble wisteria on a vine. The center of the design is sheer netted lace. High neckline with a sailor style collar on the dress with even more gorgeous lace. Long sleeves and long skirt. Wanna make your jaw drop? Take a look at the bottom of the skirt at the hand work on the knitted lace on the edge. The lace is 5" wide! Ladies these don't come along often, and are getting harder to find, especially in this condition. Please note in the picture it appears that there is a hole in the seam on the shoulder, there is no hole, the model simply did not have the tiny buttoned on the inside. However there are a FEW tiny, Tiny dots on the front, and a small light stain on the back. I have not tried to get this out, mostly likely come out with proper cleaning. Jaw dropping gorgeous! Of course with the time period of the dress, the closure is with hooks, eyelets and tiny shell buttons, very delicate dress. And of course with the cotton batiste fabric a slip is needed underneath.
