Description

Offering you a fabulous 40s vintage dress from the designer Cay Artley. A designer that is known for her "Cay Artley Sport Frocks". Short sleeved with cuffs on the sleeves. Notched collar and purple with rhinestones in the center buttons to the waist for closure. Side metal zipper as well. Accordion pleated elastic in the wais to add fullness to the skirt. The fabric on this one was a hard one but I researched our very own, How to identify fabrics, and this fabric appears to be a Pressed Plisse". The main background color I is white with a deep burgundy, navy blue and aqua floral and paisley design. Please note if you hold the dress up to the light you can see a pin hole in the front of the skirt. But you can only see it when you hold it up to the light, near the waist, probably from a belt buckle is my guess.
