Description

Breathtaking vintage 50's taupe evening dress designed by Emma Domb. This dress has similar design of the circles on the skirt to that of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy's (see picture below) wedding dress worn Sept.12, 1953 when she married John F. Kennedy; displayed at JFK Library. (flickr). The circling technique is rows and rows. There are eight of these circles on the skirt. The fitted bodice is accented with rows of gathered tulle also. Spaghetti straps over the shoulders, old metal zipper down the side. The floor length skirt has a lining underneath with built in crinoline. The bodice is boned for added support. There is a tulle netted stole that can be worn with this dress also, if desired. This dress came from an estate, and this prom dress was bought and worn in 1952.

There are a few small holes in the netting on the bottom, and one on the upper part of the skirt. All of them are small and do not hurt the overall dress, appearance, gorgeous and very wearable.
